Beyond just having different standard features, Rebel, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, and Limited trims each come appointed with their own individual themes - Sport for the Rebel, Western for the Laramie and Laramie Longhorn, and Luxury for the limited. Performance

The 2020 RAM 1500 Big Horn, Tradesman, and Laramie editions come standard with RAM's eTorque 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine with Variable Valve Timing, or an optional 5.7L HEMI V8 that features a Multi-Displacement System, as well as Variable Valve Timing and optional e Torque.

The 2020 RAM 1500 Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, and Limited models come standard with the larger 5.7L 24-valve HEMI V-8. All 2020 RAM 1500 trims come linked to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The V-6 generates 305 HP and has towing capabilities of over 3,500 Kgs, while the 395-HP V-8 models can pull a whopping 526 Kg. Two-wheel drive comes standard, with 4x4 drivetrains available on all trims. All models also use upper and lower A-arms, coil springs, and twin-tube shocks for front suspension, and a class-exclusive multi-link coil spring rear suspension. Chrysler's trademark Active-Level Four-Corner Air Suspension System comes standard on Limited editions and is available on all other trims.

Interior

Rugged on the outside, quiet and comfortable, with a touch of luxury on the inside. Every RAM 1500 starts with features like Keyless Go (push-button start), 1-touch up/down driver's and front passenger's windows, and Electronic Range Select which lets the driver limit the highest available gear while the transmission is in drive.

Tradesman, Big Horn, and Rebel trims come with front bench seats and premium cloth upholstery. Buyers wanting leather bucket seating will need to move up to Laramie models (optional with certain packages), Laramie Longhorn (premium leather filigree standard), or Limited (premium leather standard).

Laramie Longhorn and Limited models, as well as the Laramie with the leather package also come with an 8-way power driver seat, 8-way power passenger seat, 4-way power driver and front passenger lumbar, driver seat memory, heated and ventilated outboard seating positions, and a heated steering wheel.

Tradesman, Big Horn, and Rebel models get manual climate control, while Laramie and above trims get dual-zone automatic climate control.
